Ways to get there

By car

Coming from Antwerp, The Netherlands or Ghent
Head on E-19 from Antwerp towards Brussels
Take exit 7 (Kontich) and turn left at the end of the exit
Continue for 1.6km (1mile) on N171/N171 towards Berchem (Antwerp)
The venue is located at your left hand-side
Coming from Brussels, Ghent, Louvain/Leuven, Liege, Namur
On R1 head on E-19 from Brussels to Antwerp
Take exit 7 (Kontich) and turn right at the end of the exit
Continue for 1.6km (1mile) on N171/N171 towards Berchem (Antwerp)
The venue is located at your left hand-side

Public transport:

Brussels International Airport (BRU)
Taxis are parked just outside the arrival area
Trains can be found on the lower levels of the airport.
You need to take the train to Brussels North Station where you need to switch trains to Antwerp Berchem Station. These trains run with 20 minutes interval, but on different platforms. Please check http://www.b-rail.be for more details.

Attention:
Don’t select “Antwerp International Airport” (ANR) as your destination airport!!! It’s a small regional airport serving a limited amount of flights between neighboring countries.

Busses
From Antwerp Berchem Station you can take bus 32 that will take you about 800m (1/2 mile) from the venue. For more details on bus schedules, check out http://www.delijn.be (You need to enter “Terelststraat” or “Kattenbroek” as arrival address).

Hotels

Best Western Hotel Ter Elst

The venue itself has a hotel onsite, but has a limited capacity. The majority of the rooms are reserved for crew, speakers and sponsors. Only 5 more rooms are available for visitors. Do mention “PHP conference” for discounted rates!

Scandic Hotel Antwerpen

We also have a partner hotel nearby. Scandic Hotel Antwerpen is about 1o to 15 minutes from the venue by car/taxi. If you book and mention “PHP conference” you will get discounted rates.

The rates are the same as in Ter Elst:

  • Single room: 95 euro
  • Double room: 107 euro

Important to know: all reservations are based on availability and are “first come first served”. PHPBenelux has not reserved any rooms so far. Reservations happen via Scandic directly.
